Importance of Pregnancy preparation

New scientific evidence shows that a woman’s diet when pregnant can actually alter the structure of her baby’s genes.

A recent study conducted by the American Diabetes Association, concludes: “Our findings suggest a substantial component of metabolic disease risk has a prenatal developmental basis.”In plain English that means, contrary to previous beliefs about the “fixed” nature of DNA; our toxic load, diet, nutrition/stress level and negative impacts from our environment may affect the development of our offspring in fundamental ways.

For instance, there was a study done that looked at the blood of babies born in American hospitals. They looked for 415 chemicals and found traces of 287 of them in the babies’ blood. These chemicals could not have got there any other way than directly from their mother (and father) and their parents microenvironment!
