This is an overview of the Health Coach Centre’s Colon Hydrotherapy procedures and how to prepare.
Colon Hydrotheraphy Preparation
The only restriction before treatment is to avoid consuming large amount of food or drink prior to arrival. For ladies is advised to ware a confortable top to avoid disconfort when laying on the treatment-bed.
After being escorted to the treatment-room, at first you shall undress all your clothes except a top and put on a disposable spa-underwear. After visiting the inbuilt toilet to empty your bladder, you then lay down on your back, on the treatment-bed and call the therapist in the room when you are ready.
The Procedure
The therapist will insert a small disposable speculum in the rectum by using hospital grade gel to assure gentle procedure. The speculum has separate water and waste lines that are attached to the hydrotherapy equipment and delivers warm filtered water into the colon.
Your colon therapist will remain with you during the procedure – guiding and explaining all activities. A series of gentle fills and releases of water will help to stimulate peristaltic movement in the colon to expel gases and waste.
The waste tube allows matter to be discretely transported through it, without offensive odours and you are able to see what your colon is eliminating through a clear lighted glass viewing tube that runs through the colonic machine. Your therapist will use light massage techniques to help dislodging gases and liquefied waste. The procedure will take approximately 45 minutes.
After treatment you shall move to the treatment-room’s enclosed toilet to expel remaining waste and cleanse yourself. After the therapist leaves the room you can come out from the enclosed toilet and dress up.
The treatment will allow you to return to your daily activity of your choice without any major discomfort or restrictions. Most of times people find themself released, feel lighter and being in better mood, after treatment.
The Colonic Machine
At the Health Coach Centre we use a medical grade, closed-circuit colon hydrotherapy equipment from the Dotolo Research Institute in Florida, with the highest standard ultra-purification filtering system – including ultra-violet, carbon and ceramic filters.
To maximize the benefit of the colon irrigation treatment, we infuse medical grade oxygen in the ultra-filtered water before it enters in the speculum. The infused oxygen has the capacity to destroy anaerobic bacteria and yeast fungi (Candida), plus helps remove toxic gases and waste from the colon.
After each treatment we sterilize the treatment-room with an ozone generator plus spray and clean the treatment-bed with hospital grade disinfectant. To avoid contamination, each client receives a separate disposable speculum (insert), which will be sterilized after treatment and disposed. You may also take it with you and returned it in subsequent follow-up visits to reduce cost of treatments and save the environment from plastic waste.
